My passion is helping individuals heal from trauma, overcome life's challenges, and discover lasting hope and resilience. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and provide evidence-based, trauma-informed counseling to adolescents and adults. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

My clinical approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and collaboration. I integrate evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and person-centered techniques, while tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals. As a bilingual counselor, I am honored to provide counseling services in both English and Spanish and am committed to delivering culturally responsive care that is accessible and inclusive.

Before transitioning into the counseling profession, I spent more than 15 years in leadership and operations management, where I developed strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills while leading diverse teams in high-pressure environments. These experiences have strengthened my ability to build trusting relationships, navigate complex situations with empathy, and remain calm and thoughtful during difficult conversations.

I believe healing occurs through a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and genuine connection. My goal is to walk alongside each client as they process difficult experiences, develop healthier patterns, and move toward greater emotional well-being. I am committed to lifelong learning and continually expanding my knowledge through professional development, advanced trauma training, and ongoing clinical consultation so I can provide the highest quality care to those I serve.

Sincerely,

Lissette Valle
